Executive Leadership

Gwen has been serving Adult & Teen Challenge of Kentucky since 2021.  In 2024, Gwen was appointed by the Board of Directors as the CEO for Adult & Teen Challenge of Kentucky, overseeing Priscilla’s Place, Chad’s Hope and Brandenburg Outreach. Gwen served as a Youth and Young Adult Pastor for 11 years at Good Shepherd Worship Center and is an ordained minister with Church Growth International. Gwen attended Bible College with a focus on ministry and leadership. She has over 18 years of executive leadership experience, team management, developing leaders and community outreach from her previous positions. She is passionate about Jesus and her family! A wife of 31 years, mother of 3 and “Nanny” to 5 amazing grandchildren. She has always wanted to serve full time in ministry! Being part of what God is doing at Adult & Teen Challenge of Kentucky has answered the desires of her heart. To serve Christ in loving others, discipling others and leading others to Him! Gwen is dedicated to bringing the message of hope to men and women trapped in addiction and to see them experience freedom and a new life!

April accepted her position as Campus Director in August 2023 and is dedicated to sharing the transformative power of God's grace. Through her work in her church and community, she has seen first firsthand the profound impact faith can have on people's lives. April's devotion to Jesus and her family is a testament to her strength of character.

April has been married for 27 years and has three children and five wonderful grandchildren. With over 10 years of management and outreach experience, April is an outstanding example of what can be accomplished  through faith, love, and service to others.

In 2014, Forest surrendered his life and joined Chad's Hope, where he had a radical encounter with Christ in his brokenness. This transformative experience changed him profoundly. Over time, God blessed him and elevated him to serve as Executive Director.  

Gwen has been pivotal in her role as the interim Executive Director, ensuring seamless operations and continued growth. Her dedication to fostering a supportive environment and driving impactful change has been evident throughout her tenure.  She is excited to help lead the next Executive Director in her role as CEO.
