The Brandenburg Outreach Center is the newest addition to the Adult & Teen Challenge of Kentucky network, dedicated to serving women who are struggling with addiction and other life-controlling issues.
This center offers a compassionate, faith-based, short-term residential program designed to provide comprehensive support and guidance to women in need. We believe that treatment is key, but we are all about transformation.

What We Do
At the Brandenburg Outreach Center, women are welcomed into a nurturing and structured environment where they can begin their journey to recovery.
The program focuses on addressing the root causes of addiction and other related problems through a holistic approach that encompasses spiritual, emotional, and physical healing.

April Downs
Executive Director
April Downs has been serving with Adult & Teen Challenge of Kentucky since 2023. As Executive Director, she provides leadership and oversight to Brandenburg Outreach and Priscilla’s Place, guiding both campuses with excellence, compassion, and a heart devoted to sharing the hope of Christ.
Before joining Adult & Teen Challenge of Kentucky, April worked in management for a large company, gaining over 10 years of experience in leadership, team development, and community outreach. Those years in the professional world helped shape her ability to lead with grace, organization, and a deep understanding of people.
April has been married for 30 years and is the proud mother of three children and Nanna to five wonderful grandchildren. Her faith in Jesus and her love for her family are the foundation of her life.
Being part of what God is doing through Adult & Teen Challenge of Kentucky has been one of April’s greatest blessings. She is passionate about helping women discover freedom, healing, and new life through the power of God’s grace.

Breanna Longnecker
Direct Care Staff
Bre hails from Madisonville, Kentucky, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Music from Murray State University. Alongside her husband, she serves as Youth Pastor at Radcliff Church of God and as a member of the praise and worship team. She is also a mom to two beautiful children. Witnessing the impact of addiction in her family, Breanna finds joy in sharing the message of Jesus's power to deliver anyone from bondage. Grateful for the opportunity to serve, she is excited to be part of Priscilla’s Place and Brandenburg Outreach, where she can extend hope to women in need.

Ruby Allen
Program Manager
Ruby was born and raised in Meade County. She is thankful that God opened the door for her to be a part of Brandenburg Outreach and Priscilla's Place. These ministries played a huge role in saving someone very dear to her, and she hopes to be same help to someone else one day!

Erica McFadden
Direct Care Staff
Erica has been apart of Brandenburg Outreach for a year and is passionate about serving the women in her community. She finds joy in walking alongside them as they grow, heal, and discover the life-changing power of God's love. With a heart for ministry and a deep faith, Erica is excited to see how God continues to move in the lives of the women she serves.

Melissa Fulkerson
Direct Care Staff
Melissa holds a Master's degree in Human Services Counseling and is a licensed minister with the Assemblies of God. She currently serves as the Associate Pastor at Emmanuel Church. Melissa has a deep passion for helping women overcome addiction through a transformative relationship with Jesus Christ. She believes that true hope and freedom are found in Christ alone and that when we allow Jesus to write our life story, we are forever changed and made new!
